Should definitely be added to the recruitment material:

"At most schools, this would present a problem. But not at Michigan. We pride ourselves in making certain your education never interferes with your social agenda - or lack thereof."

I watched the first season re-run of 24 on FX from begining to end just before the second season aired. It started at midnight.

its not that hard actually, its really good and you just can't put it down. i get 3 dvds at a time and finish them in one sitting

I also watched the Season 1 DVD's recently (a few weeks ago...still need to get 2 and 3). I think the most I've done is 8 episodes at a time. 🙂

I told one of my friends that I'd personally make him watch all the 24 episodes over Spring Break (yes, we're nerds like that 😛), so we'll see how many we can watch at a time. 😉

 I did the same thing.

Over Christmas my bro lent his copies of Season 1 and 2 to his friend and he watched the entire season straight one day and the next season the day after. Talk about commitment and a complete lack of a social life!

Since on the show 1 hour of tv time equals 1 hour of show time, how do they factor in no commercials. If you watched 3 episodes on TV that woud\ld be 3 hours of show time. That would be realistic. However, wihtout commericials, those 3 dvds would only take 2 hrs and 15 minutes.

I had all 24 episodes from season 1 and tried to watch them. I was off for a week after it was done. I left the house thing it was 10:00 a.m. when actually is was 7:15 due to lack of commercials.
