I disagree. Even though it's a forum, you're stil dealing with people. Words can sting and emotions can flare. Feelings, issues, and philosophies are discussed and debated, and someone may actually learn something....someone may get their feelings get hurt....someone's post may cause someone reading it to smile, giving them relief after a really bad day. Thse forums may not mean much in the long run, but they do have impact, no matter how small, sooner or later it may be significant to someone.
