OMG... I just visited the Fox News forum and it's like going to a KKK rally. They don't have sub forums like ATOT. You just click on the headline and head to the comment section at the bottom of the page.

Just a bunch of nasty people.

Did they say a bunch of things that old political pundits say to sound witty and powerful, like "drink the kool-aid", "sheeple", or spell Obama's name like "Obummer" or "Oblame-a"?

Are you part of some kind of "Introduce the Mentally Handicapped to the Wonders of the Internet" program or something?

They did. I disagreed with their viewpoint and I was called a commie.

it's true though lol.. you dont find liberal/democrat people acting that nasty, commenting like they are some sort of keyboard warrior, hiding behind their monitor.

this little thread right here is about the extent of "nastiness," you'll get from a liberal.

Bullshit. I see just as much trash from the leftists. Granted it's more passive/aggressive nonsense(I'll leave it to the reader to interpret why), but I've run into some mouth breathing militants also. Partisanship is religion for those "too cool" for religion...

No, you haven't..

i can literally go to P&N and pick out just by the aggressive nature of the thread title, which threads are created by aggressive, vile, R's.

for instance, click on PN, first thread i see which is obvious is about 3 threads down.. "Another cop goes home safe," yeah....it's about a cop killing a 12 year old with a beebee gun..

why does it have to be so nasty? "another cop goes home safely," it's freaking tragedy!!! not a joke! it's not GOOD this cop went home safely, only a person with CBD would think that way.

I don't do P&N, and I typically don't peruse the comments section of anywhere. In fact, I actively block them since they're a waste of bandwidth. I'm *telling* you what I've seen. It's not a matter of debate. You're being informed...

if you looked at comments anywhere on the entire internet, you'd see what i'm talking about.,

it's really just that because it's so prevailant everywhere on the internet, that a bunch of low iq idiots are jumping on the bandwagon, and ruining the entire partys image... that's just what i gather though. i know not all conservatives are like that, their ARE some good people.

That's weird. I thought conservatives hated "mainstream media" outlets like Fox News forums. :sneaky:

Thats not a forum, thats just article comments. CNN and KTAR, many others, have the same thing. And they're all pretty much idiots, regardless of what the news site is.

Why are you surprised? I'd have been more surprised if you'd said it resembled an ACLU meeting....seriously.

Having grown up in the conservative belt, also known as the Bible Belt, or the South, such displays of ignorance and intolerance is so commonplace, even today, it makes me rather sad.

Then again, it's only natural that such bigotry continues to today when you consider the electorate in the south (i.e. conservatives) voted for "Equal but Separate" and Jim Crow laws. The attitudes haven't changed much at all down south over the last 50 years. In fact, more than a few wish it could go back to those days.......

Really now? Have you actually lived in the south? Do you have first hand experience with people in the south? I lived in Virginia (true not the deep south, but the south nonetheless) for 16 years and many of the people that I interacted with were kind and courteous. Oh and I should mention that a good deal of them were on the conservative side of the aisle. I've also traveled to Florida, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, and Missouri. I met some liberals as well and they were typically courteous too but when it comes to discourteous and rude people I've seen them from both sides of the aisle and from many locations within the US. Frankly some of the most discourteous people I've encountered seem to come from the west coast and upper east coast. Just my experience but while we're all chipping in our two cents I figured I'd throw mine in.
