That's right, I just uninstalled all the games that I had, along with some other programs such as Morpheus and Direct Connect. Waste of time :|
 
If you really want to go the no game route, buy a Matrox G450.

I love mine, but God help you if you try to game with it.

i blew my geforce 1 last week and dell RMA'd me a geforce 2.....i havent benchmarked it, but how much more performance should i get?
 
Over the last three days I downloaded: The ninth gate, God father 1 & 2 and Citizen Kane.

With that said, Direct Connect is NEVER comming off my computer 😀



Games...got lots of them...but I hardly have the patience to play them anymore (I play CS occasionaly but only for max 1hr).

Look at Anand's reviews from April-may 2000. You should be able to get quite a nice boost.
 
i deleted all my games too like a few days ago. i got pissed that my computer kept crashing in UT due to bad KyroII drivers. i just got so pissed of it crashing all the time because it resets some of my settings from the crash and what not. but its not such a bad thing coz most of the UT i play is on my gf's computer which hasnt crashed in UT before.

i had other games installed besides UT like AVP2, RTCW, etc etc but i havent found a FPS game that can sustain stable on my vid card.

Thats true for me as well. I've not uninstalled any of my games though. I just leave them one here. I just don't play as I don't have the time and the games I have on my pc aren't all that appealing to me......

rather go a few rounds on my ps2 when I can....

I also have gotten tired of them and no longer have much time for them. Too many games now require way too much time to invest and learn.
