On July 6th.

I've done most things you can do when your finally recognised as an adult. Bought alcohol, pack of smokes (i dont smoke - got them for my dad), went to a bar, bought a lottery ticket... thats it so far. I dont need to waste money on porn cause thats what the net is for.

You haven't gone to a strip club yet.
You haven't joined the ARMY.
You haven't bought a firearm.

You got a ways to go.

But congrats on turning 18...

Where do you live ? I thought you had to be 21 to buy alcohol in the US.

I used to buy cigars for my grandfather when I was 8 years old. That's an old story though...

West VA, for one, allows 18 year olds to buy liquor.

I know, because I was in PA for a week, I was only 20 minutes from the border to WVA. It was tempting...hehe...

Hmmm.. That makes Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec. I remember going to visit one university in Boston. The undergrad students wasted much of their time looking for people to buy booze for them. On the other hand, in Montreal the undergrad students wasted much of their time being drunk. Bottom line, both groups wasted their time. ;)

Happy Birthday Stefan! I was 18 once, a long long time ago.
Enjoy your youth, I hope you don't have to find out the hard way about all the stupid things in life. Stay away from drugs, alcohol, and gang-related ignorance. Hope you live a long and fruitful life!

Dennilfloss, just realized you and I are about the same age!
Graduated in '73 at 17..... That's a trip.:)

Crysla, only 45 minutes to go!!! Happy Birthday to you too, Princess!!!!!:p -kd5-

I'm gonna buy a gun when I turn 18. Just cause they look cool. I'll only buy ammo for a shooting range.

Birthdays : the celebration of yet another irreplacable piece of your life puzzle being thoughtlessly removed. The entire picture becoming more incomplete as time swallows it... "Where did the time go?" you might ask, but the futile attempts to slow down that eternal clock are for naught. Like bullets in a clip our years disappear until our reserves end and we have no energy to flee moarnful death...
Happy birthday? there is no such thing...

Are you sure 18 is the drinking age in West Virginia? I went to a strip club there were you only had to be 18 (went with some friends that werent 21 yet, because in Va. you have to be 21). And I know I woulda had a alcholic beverage at the club if the drinking age was only 18....

Oh and happy belated 18th to you Stefan. I can hardly remember my 18th birthday. And why does everyone assume (stupid question) that everyone here lives in america (not necessarily referencing this post) but in most of Europe there really isnt an age restriction on alcohol. You can go into a fast food joint and get a beer, and even get a beer in a vending machine (how sweet is that?). Can't wait to move back to Europe.
