I just tried Sriracha for the first time

sriracha is great with cheese sandwiches but not the be-all and end-all. there's a ton of great tasting chinese chili sauces (Fu-Chi for example - watch out, there's multiple versions, you want the plain chili), each has it's list of appropriate dishes; Fu Chi for example is great with pork dumplings.

I <3 hot sauce, but can't fucking stand that shit, it's not spicy and imho it has a crappy flavor.

This shit right here? ZOOOOOOOMG!

OK, I need to try that one, as I have never seen it before. They are probably my favorite overall hot sauce brand. The XXX "Maya recipe" whatever is amazing.

I like it. It's pretty good on most any savory food item. I'm not about to call it the best chili sauce evar though.

i dont really care for the taste, but its an easy way to add some heat to a dish. the flavor isnt bad, its just not that strong or good, so i find it goes into things well without messing up the flavor.

i only like sort of spicy, however. like, 3 or 4 out of 10. thats all i want. it gets me there pretty easy.

I don't mind it on some things but IMO it would be a shitload better if it didn't have so much sugar in it. It is way too sweet.

I use Tabasco sauce lately. It has high heat though so just a few drops is all I need. Has a nice flavor though.

try this one

This is the one I tried which is imo noticeably hotter than Tobasco on a per drop basis but as I understand it this brand has a selection of heat ranges. It had a noticeable and to me nice flavor. Just before the heat got to me.

I'd actually like something with a little less heat than Tabasco if it would have the same flavor as Tabasco. Naga Jolokia would be too much heat for me. Thanks for the suggestion anyway tho.

I haven't had a sauce that tastes like Tabasco. Tabasco has a unique bourbony flavor that I haven't tasted anywhere else. If I could have only one sauce, I'd pick Tabasco without a second thought.

It was yucky and burned my mouf. Why do you eat it?
I put that stuff on everything. Eggs, noodles, sandwiches, subs, vegetables, chicken, soup, bread, chilli, pizza, etc.. It makes every boring or ok food AWESOME. Franks Red Hot and Tabasco is good too but they can't match the price of Sriracha, 710ml for $1.50 of at the Dollar Store. And some places (like this Japanese hut in the mall) have a bottle of it already there. And in the cold of Winter hell it warms you right up. It's silly not to put Sriracha on everything.
