I just bought these wool dress slacks.. I got them altered to fit me then i wore them for the first day and got it stuck on a medal piece of this door and put about a 1 inch tare in it.. 🙁 The tear is on my left buttox.. will patching fix it right up or will it look ugly.. any suggestions? Is there any way of fixing this so that its invisible?

thank you for all your help

You = OWNED BY A METAL PIECE ON A DOOR.

You = Go to store and buy new pants.

You = don't be a cheapass; go buy nice new pants.

You = use fire axe and destroy door so this doesn't happen again.

😀

Jo-Ann's has a ton of patches, and they can help you out, pretty knowledgeable people about crafts.

stop making fun of me and help me find a solution!!! would it be very noticeable if i took it to a dry cleaner to get it patched?

try returning it and say it came like that but you never bothered to check your arse? 😕

just take it by a tailor or dry cleaner, and see what they say.

it might be really cheap to fix.

fixing it yourself is a bit more risky, but its doable if you really want to salvage the pants but don't want to spring for someone to fix it.

if its fixed properly there will be a tiny little seam in it that nobody will notice unless they're really checking out your ass.

the best job the dry cleaner can do will still result in a noticeable seam. sometimes they mirror the new seam on the other side so it doesn't look especially odd, but I'd say you're pretty much pwned. Get a cheap fix and wear it with shirts that don't tuck in (ie: casual wear).
