I just started working out? Any thing I should take before or after workout?

I have a workout machine so I have started working out for the past week every night. If there any supplement I should take before or after the workout? I'm 6'0, 210. I want to lose weight & gain mussel 🙂
 
Some ephedra will help melt off any fat you want to lose, don't look to gain much muscle while losing weight, doesn't work that way.
 
Creatine, protein, and glutamine after the workout. Oh, and make sure you eat something too. There's a pretty good guide at ast-ss.com that describes the anabolic/catabolic states your body can go through based on your food intake levels throughout the day. Creatine, protein, and glutamine are the "big 3", though. They've been around a while and are pretty solid-- you don't have to worry about it just being a passing fad or current trend. Theyre very safe, too. I don't like hormonal supplements.
