Cacti rocks tho, I use it for monitoring the bandwidth on the WAN T-1's at work. Wayyyyy better than MRTG.

Nagios is SNMP monitoring for services or interfaces, uptime is the focus, cacti is pretty much for bandwidth, tho it does do some other SNMP pulls and is configurable for different things.
