I just saw Cube, and boy does my Head hurt

For me, with regard to Cube 2, they took everything that made Cube good, and threw it out the window...but that's just me.

I thought it was entertaining - although I had to turn off my inner logic at times, you know, suspension of disbelief.

I thought the whole idea of this "cube" built on the premise that one hand does not know what the other does was a bit of a stretch.
I suppose that as a premise it's acceptable but still pretty implausible. Other than that it was a pretty good movie considering it as a very small budget movie IIRC.

As a bit of trivia, when Terry Ferrel first got the job as Jazia Dax, the producers offered to tattoo the spots on, then have them removed after the show was over. She declined, and instead spent 4 hours a day, 6 days a week, for 6 years getting them put on every morning.

exactly what he said. Hypercube sucked so bad I can't stand the first movie now. If you liked the first movie do yourself a favor and don't watch Hypercube.

Cube 2 is interesting, not better, they are different movies, but if you liked the first, you will probably enjoy the second, the ending to the second wasn't that great though.

I saw the edited version of Cube2 on SciFi Channel, and it was ok, but not better than the first. The first added an element of suspense as you didn't know whether the room was boobytrapped or not, and the traps themselves were pretty creative. The second one lost some plausibility..
