THE PLAN TO DESTROY

Dear brother:
Many of you are hopelessly addicted to Anandtech forums. I know that. Ever
since they cast me out of it, I have plotted to destroy Anandtech. This goal gets closer
everyday. Many of your brothers, that have been bruised by the flamings of M4H, Red
Dawn, and others have banded together into a league of the oppressed. You have shown
great promise for thinking along our lines. Should you take the vow, and become one of
us, you must forget any loyalty you have to Jason or Anand. The only way to end the
oppression and slavery caused by Anandtech, is to destroy the will of those who post
there. Here is how we plan to bring down the quality of Anandtech so much that they
will eventually, all the ones who have hurt you will go away, then we will have control of
the Anandtech forums and we shall make the people equal again in the sight of Anand
and the interweb!
Stage 1
5/1/04 ? 11/29/04: Various ?new members? will be signed up under our control, the goal
of these members is several fold:
· General Hardware forum:
o Post a variety of reposts and useless threads or even legit questions in this
forum, including threads/topics about:
Operating Systems
Price quotes
Cases and cooling
CPU
Motherboards
Networking
Peripherals
Software
Programming
Games
Video
Technical support threads
Hell, even off topic stuff must be posted in general hardware
forums
· Operating Systems:
o Post threads about how wonderful service pack 2 is and why you should
install it.
o Post threads about how service pack 2 screwed up your machine and that
you should avoid it like the plague.
o It is good to keep the issue of SP2 around, keep them confused over
whether it is good or bad.
o Technical support threads
· SOFTWARE - APPS, PROGRAMMING AND GAMES forum:
o Post reposts about ?what is the best:
Antivirus
Firewall
Media Player
Bit torrent client
Newsgroup
o Firefox versus IE flame wars are critical to our movement.
· Video Forum:
o Begin threads that are nvidia versus ATI flame bate.
o Repost questions about TV Tuner cards, is x800 better than 6800, etc.
o Consistently ask questions about which video card is the best from a
selection of cards that no one has ever heard of, for example, GeforceFX
5000 LE edition or the 9550 VE?
o Continue to post threads with links to articles about cheating in driver
optimizations
· Off Topic:
o Begin flame bait threads about the following:
Abortion
Racism
Homosexuality
Atheism
Religion
Random music lyric quote threads
OMGWTFBBQ
This will help increase the hatred on Anandtech and thus bring about
lower quality programming for lurkers who are thinking of joining.
· Politics and news is firmly under our control already, keep up the good
work.
We have carefully outlined our plans for stage 1 to all of those who might join us in our
crusade. Only those who swear to the fall of ATOT may know of the later stages.
Should you chose to join us, you will never know who your brothers are, outside of 1 or
2, there could be hundreds or just those 1 or 2, no one shall know. When the mods catch
you, will confess and be banned, occasionally, we can fed ex a razor blade to you. But
most end up as mere ghosts on the forums. We look forward to hearing from you
brother.
