Only 2 things I wouldn't like about it:

1. The GF2 MX200. You should have gotten an original MX or an MX400.
2. The onboard audio. There are decent PCI sound cards out there that are so cheap that there's no reason not to get one.

Everythign else looks pretty cool.

I see her rig but most AT'ers want to see her.

I like her puter though.

Time for me to build one.

THe MX200 was dirt cheap (it works fine enought for all her wedding planner and recipe browsing)....and I was thinking about getting her a soundcard, but she's a girl and the on board is good enough for her....I don't have any pics of my girl though....

She told me to keep her computer and give her my old one, but I figured it'll be mine soon enough....

Geez, I really need to upgrade my POS celly system, runs good enough, but man, playing on a 1.4 Ghz is nice!

I'll make the neccessary gamer upgrades when the computer becomes mine....

here's pics... CD-RW and here

Here's the mobo though she's got the non-RAID verrsion.

And here's the CPU .

Haha...

I would have given her my old one to be honest with you. Especially if she isn't using the speed of the 1400mhz.

Back when I had a old P75, I graduated from college and then went out and upgraded to a P2-400. I gave my wife the P75 because I knew she didn't do gaming and such. Since then, she has always gotten my older system components. Right now, I have a 1 gigahertz P3 and she has a P3-866. That 866 will be more than she will ever use. :)

I like the system you built though. :)

lol @ your computer why didnt you take hers and give yours to her she doesnt need that much power. My best friend just built her GF a computer like that one. all she does with the stupid thing is play the Sims.. How lame. People waste there money on flashy compents when they dont need them. irritates me :)

I actually bought my gf (now ex-gf) a computer - duron 700 - it was cheaper to buy it than to build, which is usually not true, but it had onboard everything - sound, LAN, graphics. She didn't have anything, and I decided I couldn't date a person without a computer. Now, I guess I can't date a person with a computer I bought :(:frown:

I;m on her computer right now...I use it more than her, maybe that's why I built it so nice...

I put a mx400 on a friend of mines comp, and the mx200 run just fine....for now...

My friends comp had one of those fixed frequency monitors, so he had to get a Savage4 specialized vid card. It sucks...
