i just took a duece and i felt kind of constapated...when it came out it was really wide and i think it stretched my sphincter too much and cracked the skin. there was a little bit of blood in the toilet but when i wiped the tp was covered in blood.

do i need to see a doctor about this or will it heal on it's own?

i know it's from right inside the sphincter because it freakin hurts. and it's bright red...but it freackin hurts

However, on issues where people tend to panic (like the OP may be doing), it's good to hear some reasuring words from others if he's not going to take the initiative to get off his bleeding ass and go to the doctor in exchange for sitting on it and wasting time posting on an internet BBS.

You are going to be fine -- happens to me every once in a while. Just an anal fissure -- will go away soon. Eat fruit and get enough fiber to keep yourself regular and healthy. I find if I'm slacking in my diet I tend to have more problems. I went to the emergency room when it first happened to me, and wish I hadn't have. It was bleeding quite a bit (like *bloop - bloop - bloop* blood into the toilet water). Doctor gave me the finger to make sure it wasn't anything abnormal, told me I had a hemmorhoid/fissure and sent me on my way. So unless you want a finger, I'd steer clear. If it starts to bleed a lot and doesn't stop, go in immediately.
