I just played around with Sony's Network Walkman and ....

Geekiness factor is high, but you gotta convert your music (CDs, MP3s) into Sony's ATRAC3 format and then load it into the 64MB player. It's super small, but you can't load your MP3s directly onto it.

I wouldn't buy it because of that. Other than that, its really cool

Thats why the Sonys have not been sucessfull, good idea, but really poor implementation due to the memory stick and the proprietary audio format. Try again sony, mp3s on minidisks would rock.
