Some people just sound stupid when they say the whole "shouldn't stoop to her level" phrase. If I was stabbed, should I productively walk to a hospital while being chased by said assailant .. or fight back? Go ahead with your "unchildish non-cavemen like" action.

More or less, you get what you give bitches.

yeah defending your life is a lot like the kids getting a preasent.

assholes don't respect you more if you keep being nice to them

when you stoop to their level you technically are giving them a taste of their own medicine but are also letting other people run your life.

For basically my entire life I always get ugly shirts and other assorted cheap stuff, if anything, from my family, because they can't afford much more.

That said, I acknowledge that my upbringing might be responsible with appears to me to be a more humble outlook on holidays, and with all the lack of bias that I can muster, I still can't get past how much of a little bitch you come off as.

I had angry aunts, bitches, fumb ducks, and every name in the book realized in family and friends, and you know what....

I choose to show them my best face and never let them get to me. Somehow when the sh!t hits the fan, I always support them.....and get this...they always support me.

Go figure that out.

edit: don't get me wrong. Life is not about covering your ass, but I live better because I have so it's already paid for itself in spades. Even if it never helps me out, its one hell of a nice insurance policy and also makes my life less stressful.

Well i went over and talked to her. She understood were i was coming from. then i decided to go take a look at the comp, since i was hurting my niece's more since they had HW to do tonight and needed to research a bit, AND my aunt was being EL cheapo and didn't want to pay the $80 diagnostics charge geeksquad wanted. so i looked at it, and low and behold, the single stick of memory (256mb 😛) came loose and just needed to be snapped back in. so i guess im a sucker.

Without hearing both sides of the story it's tough to make a well informed decision about who is being the biggest A-Hole. In the end, you made a great decision.
 and it's time for a .

that was nice of you

you should call her later and ask her what the root of this conflict was/is..I think that's paramount.
