I just owned myself in Zelda: Link to the Past

I had just bought a new TV and I was playing some good old Zelda: Link to the Past on it, I had made it past the second castle and I just bought my flippers when my knee knocked my SNES and it locked up.

Two hours of work down the drain 🙁.

Good game though 😀 I'll probably start it over again tonight or something. I'm sure you guys played this game... did you ever beat it? I only beat it once. Unlike the one Zelda that was on Gameboy... you know, the one where he is in a dream? Never beat that one once.

Update: And so I begin my quest again...

I've completed it probably as many times as I've completed Final Fantasy III. I love ambiguity.

Beat Link to the Past on SNES twice, from start to finish.

Also beat Link's Awakening on GB once. That's the one you're thinking of. Awesome game.

yes i beat it. all sorts of times. you ever get all the hearts?

I got all but one or two, I think. I'm sure there were numerous pieces laying around Hyrule I didn't get.

How many is there total...? 18?

I can't get past that one castle where you need to get the Firerod. I can't find it anywhere. I got so frusterated with that game. Not sure where it is now.

I have beat all of the GB, Nintendo, N64 and SNES Zeldas about 5 times each. All good games.

Game Genie FTL!

fixed...
No see, when you use the genie, you win.

Hence, for the win.

No see, when you spend money on a game and use a game genie (or equivilent) to bypass the whole gaming experience, you lose.

Hence, for the loss.

The Ice Cave?

Been a while.

I'd just...(bare with me)...resort to GameFAQs.

omgshocker
i never beat that level when it was supposed to be beaten. always skipped it until i got the item that would make a block, rather than having to drop the block and solve the puzzle.

This game ticked me off years ago. I knew the last heart was in the digging gambling game in the dark world. 3-4 days of play and it finally popped out.

Oh man I love this game. I have it on my Gameboy Advance SP and had it on my old Super NES when I lost track of it.

This is probably my favorite game of all time along with Zelda: Ocarina of time.

I can't wait for the next Zelda!!!!

I agree wholeheartedly with this post 🙂 🙂 🙂

The new Zelda is going to be the sequel to Ocarina of Time, right?!?!?!?!
