Just wanting to know what everyone thinks about the MX DUO from logitech. It has pretty good rating everywhere I looked and my mouse has been doing bad things like when I click on something it sometimes double and triple clicks it rapid fire.

The DUO was only $23 dollars more than the mouse and my birthday is coming up, so my wife asked if I wanted that for my birthday, so I agreed......:D

One more question, it doesn't look like there are regular mouse buttons, but I know there has to be. Are they just under the front two "fingers" that are on either side of the mouse wheel?

TIA

Excellent mouse and keyboard combo. And yes, the normal mouse buttons are right where you'd expect em to be ;) They just made the whole top shell thing one piece..it looks mighty nifty and works just fine. I'm sure you are going to get much enjoyment out of this set. :p

LOL! But isn't this usually true? I always get someone telling me how they bought some POS eMachine <insert any other computer here> instead of me building them one, but now they are having problems and want me to help them. At the very least, they ended up paying WAY too much for the computer, even if they don't have any problems.

The MX duo is great, I'm not that impressed w/ the keyboard as I only use Microsoft natural ones, but the Mouse is simply the best cordless mouse there is to date. period....

I picked one of these up from newegg a month ago and I'm still learning how to use it.

I never seem to remember to park it in the cradle and there's only two or three days of heavy usage between recharges. I'm thinking of picking up a cheap Logitech 310 for when I forget this. I'm also not getting comfortable with the fwd/backward buttons near the thumb... I haven't been able to use them like "second nature" yet.

That being said, I've been impressed with its performance and I have been able to put the scroll-up/scroll-down buttons just fine... previously I had a logitech cordless freedom set.

Same here. Im so used to where the forward and back buttons are on my Intellimouse that I think the MX310 would be a better choice for me. Besides that, I have used the MX Duo for a week or so. I liked the keyboard a lot, and the mouse didn't give me any trouble of any kind.

It's at Office Depot, not OfficeMax

http://www.officedepot.com/txtSearchDD.do?searchTxt=882010&x=10&y=5

Use the coupon code included in the fatwallet link. Then choose "pickup in store" when you checkout and the price will change to $79.84. Then you can send off the $10 MIR included in the fatwallet link.

Yeah, I clicked on link and I get this:
Attention...
We're sorry, no matches were found for "882010".
Please try one of our alternate search options below:

and I have searched their site directly and no MX DUO, they have the Elite one an a couple other lesser ones. They even have the MX700 separately, just no DUO......:(
