I just ordered my first new laptop

I had a x30 before and have been using a x31.

I got the x30 for around $650 three years ago. after using it for 1 year, I sold it for $600.

2 years ago, I got my x31 for $1000. it was used for about 1 year.

I agree. You need more memory.

The price seems a bit much for what you bought, though. It's an IBM, though, so you'll be getting your money's worth.

decent deal for an IBM but I cant stand XGA (1024x768) resolution. WXGA (1280 x 800) is looks so much better on a 12".

Lenovo had some way better deals on the T60 but that is a full sized laptop.

that's ok, I will be using my laptop with an 22" external lcd most of the time
