So I just spent the last two days learning how to play Kashmir. I'm proficient enough to make it through a play along... 50% of the time. LOL

OMG it's like butter! This tune is so powerful and on this guitar it's amazing!

And the DADGAD tuning! Holy crap!

Try open E and do some Stones 😉

Sleep Now In The Fire is a JAM!!!!! 😀 Tom is a riff master---hooks are addicting!

So today I've been jamming Killing in the name of, Wake up (Matrix flashbacks!) and Born of a Broken Man.

OMFG it's like guitar sex. Holy shit the raw fuckin power of it!!!

Then I drop down to DADGAD and belt out some Kashmir.

Fuck, this shit is orgasmic.

Why didn't I ever learn alt-tuning when I played 20 years ago???

No YouTube back then. Those alt tuning were guitar god secrets. I remember reading interviews of my guitar heroes in the 80's and they were all "I'd rather not give up how I play that because it's close to me!" and other BS.

Yeah....I used to play that on my acoustic back in college. My favorite is walking down the strings. I'm sure it'd take a few minutes, but I still remember the gist of how to play it...

Yep, so simple yet so brilliant. And once you get the right touch and timing it sounds just like it.

Mine (finally got one after 4 years of wanting one):

Holy shit that's a beautiful 12 string! I've always loved Gretsch guitars.

I've been coveting a Takamine G series natural 12 string acoustic for a while now. Only 650ish. I may spring for it next year.
