I just OC'd my Gainward GF3 to 610mem/295core is this real!!??!

I am using the coolbits hack and I have an insane overclock! It just doesnt' seem realistic. Is there any way to see if the card is really running at those clock frequencies?

I dont' have Powerstrip, but I'm about to run 3DMark2001 SE. We'll see what numbers come out of it

Yep. Gainwards clock very well. My Ti500 (Ti 550) is rock solid at 265/602. I can get quite a bit higher, but it crashes under extreme stress, or shows artifacts in 3D rendering.

You may have gotten that high, but have you stress tested that clock setting in D3D and GL? If not, it's meaningless.

Clock it up that high and run 3DMark2001. Then run a GL program. If it can complete a couple hours of both, it's a valid OC.

Well the extreme overclock is all for nothing

I was not even able to get thru the first test on 3DMark2001 SE, but at a setting of 285/595 I was able to run and got a score in the high 8700's ( I dont remember the actual, I was a little upset I couldnt run at the highest setting).

Well I'm still pretty pleased with this vid-card and I think I got one hell of a performer.
