dude with the new job.. how about you buy a TV stand?

i will eventually. the tv weighs 70 pounds, i think it'll be fine there for a couple more weeks.

bump for morning crowd.

get the matching tv stand.

mine looks nice with my tv

i have the 50" though. btw, nice crib :)

EDIT: also, have you actually sat on that couch? if you havent i would suggest so before you buy it. ikea couches may LOOK nice but they are NOT comfortable. my friend worked there and bought a leather couch set from them. it looked very nice, but it was hard as a rock. just warning you if you havent sat on it yet ...

i have the 50" as well. i got the tv just before i quit bestbuy, and the employee price difference was 100 dollars. pretty easy choice =P

where did you get your stand and how much did it cost?

and yea, i went to ikea a week ago and sat on the couch. it felt really comfortable. dunno, i'll try again. i'm not buying it over the web.

so you only saved $100 on that TV w/your BB Employee discount?!? that doesn't sound right ..

i got my stand from sears, it was $200.

no no, the employee price difference between the 46" and the 50" model was 100 dollars. i saved 1/3 on the tv =P (it was 3000 retail then, i got it for 2000).

That would be one nice apartment if you actually had something inside of it. Every room looks bare.

i'm working on it =P its kinda hard to fill two rooms when you just moved out of a 1 bedroom college apartment.

i think the only thing i'll change is getting a bigger bed and maybe putting on risers. but i dont plan to have any other furniture in there.

I hope there is something else in Delaware beside your job.
Delaware sounds as bad as North Dakota.

nope, that's about it. i do have friends an hour away in PA, and three hours away in NYC though. what's funny to me is how everyone complains about how long drives are... and they're driving 30 mins. that's a trip to the nearest walmart in the town i went to high school. i'm also used to driving dallas to austin, so it works out well =P

Nice.

I like how the vertical mirror in the bedroom still has the cardboard corner protector things. :p

i've had that coffee table forever, thank you very much =P

well i've had my coffee table forever too, but when I bought my GWIII I at least bought a stand that fit the tv and did it some justice. It's amazing what people will spend money on and then skimp on the smallest detail....maybe its just me

i'll get one next month, it's in the budget report! i actually just needed to get the couch first, otherwise i'd have gotten the stand this month (ikea is phasing out the couch i like and i want to get it before they sell out). i blew the stand money on a set of component, optical, dvi-dvi, xbox component, and some other monster cables. its not every day you get to buy monster cables at wholesale price. i paid like 1/3 the normal price for em all.
