I heard this rumour. Wish I had the story behind it.
 
I never could figure out if she was (a) being an idiot because none of the scenarios she lists in the song are ironic, or (b) being a sarcastic genius, releasing a song about irony where nothing it lists is ironic, which actually is ironic.
