The Future Shop on Broadway in Vancouver had him doing an hour long autograph session (Vancouver is his hometown). He was very friendly, funndy, and took everyone visitor seriously.

One guy came in with a print out of his Total Anilihation website. Mr. Taylor says he reads all reviews of his products and remembered that site; he then asked the guy to sign the printouts :).

Anyways, I got DS now and I got it signed :)

Aw, if I had known he was coming, I would have bought my copy there (instead of at the EB in Oakridge ;) ).

<< chris taylor? did he do the fallout's too? >>

Pretty sure no. I forget who worked on Fallout, exactly, though. Some of them went on to Arcanum.

If I could meet him face-to-face, I'd tell him how much Dungeon Siege lacks a decent story and depth of gameplay. It looks like all they concentrated on was pretty graphics. And even then, some characters look pointy and with a lot of action, framerate drops significantly even on a high-end 3D card. I can't wait until people start complaining about hacks and cheats. I'll wait for Morrowind and Neverwinter Nights. Personally I like the look of NWN artwork a lot better than the cartoony look of DS characters. Also, it will hopefully have a more detailed and involving story, since it uses D&D rules. Morrowind looks to be a great single player game. Who needs multiplayer? bah...
