I just made $84.56 for doing virtually nothing.

I have this plastic bank that's roughly the same size and shape as a basketball. I got it back it in 1999 from my grandmother who threw a few pennies in and told me to save up. She told me that once it was full to just go ahead and spend the money on something fun. She passed away that same year unfortunately, and I vowed to fill that bank up for her.

Well finally, after 9 years, it was full. I took it over to the Penny Arcade at my local Commerce Bank and got it all counted. Here are the figures:

Weight: 48.5lbs
# of Pennies: 8136
Value of Pennies: $81.36
Value of Other Coins: $3.20
Grand Total: $84.56

Not bad for saving pennies, eh? Well now that I've cashed all of those in, it's time to honor my grandma's wished and get something fun. 🙂

Any suggestions? (No hookers and blow)
