I used to get 10/1.5 at home, but I think that was the middle of the road service. Verizon FIOS was also in my area for $10 cheaper/month plus better upload. Here at school, I get 8/8.

We've got 5/512k for regular, 10/1 for extreme (what I'm on), and 25/1 for the nitro package... It's twice as much as extreme, and the upload isn't any better so it's kinda useless. I want FIOS

nice! we have crappy options. the maximum you can get here is like 3/3.

Our cable company increased the speed from the local competition from Comcast. Though they charged us more... and it wasn't an option to upgrade to this speed either.

Lawful, but damn, I need money for my mustang.

I just got FIOS yesterday - 15/2 package tests out at 15.5/1.9 and it costs me $10 less than the damn Comcrap that it replaced.
