I just learned about Miranda.

If you thought more of it, i fooled you.
It is about Miranda, the comedy from the UK named after Miranda Hart. Who is the lead actress.
Funny because she has a habit of getting in the most peculiar situations.
If you already know the series, good for you. If you do not, you might want to watch it.
For those of you who are still young enough to raise the family flag merely because you are thinking of women : She does not look like a plastic porn star. But she is feminine and funny.

Of course, it is on purpose what she does.

But if you want to have a laugh with female comediennes that make you drool.
I had a lot of laughs with this movie : Dirty Love with Jenny McCarthy.

The problem is "feminine" not found like you said.

As long as she does not talk and behave like a man. Or talks and shouts really loud. She is not overweight either. When it comes to my own preferences, i would not mind if she had thicker eyebrows and longer slightly curled hair up to the shoulders.

Here, a normal photo.

I can't believe you can find that woman anything other than repulsive. I feel bad for her. Overweight you can fix, ugly is much harder.

I remember a signature quote from someone on this forum : "Ugly you can fix, stupid is forever." But then again we are all entitled to an opinion and i was expecting these responses as well.

The problem is all you gave us was some crappy bbc humor video clip and it makes her look all of the above.

(Raises eyebrows...) Well, the humor is actually quite enjoyable. And looking at the timeframes of posting , i would be surprised to learn any poster up till now has seen the complete episode without skipping. But in all honesty, there do exist enough comedy shows that do not even raises the corners of my mouth one micrometer for 3 episodes. Not everybody has the same taste in humor. That is a truth.

Do tell? How groundbreaking and unique! A sitcom in which the main character gets in the most peculiar situations.

Let me guess . . . hilarity ensues!

At least there isn't an endlessly annoying laugh track. Oh, wait . . .

(Sorry, OP, we're a tough crowd here.) 😛

But she is feminine and funny.

I watched the entire clip. Perhaps the show isn't a great showcase, but in it, she doesn't present as much of either.

That episode covered some pretty tired and well-worn sitcom ground, and not with any new slant or approach whatsoever. If you're going to be that unimaginatively derivative, you'd better do it brilliantly.

I can see where perhaps if you were a prior fan of hers you might better appreciate this show, and I do applaud that they gave the lead to a truly awkward looking woman, and not a supermodel airily playing an awkward woman and all, but the plot, characterizations and writing in this clip were all intensely mediocre and derivative.

I have watched more episodes now. And i am sad to say i have to agree. It started out great but the show is drawn to much to one person for this kind of comedy. For instance with allo allo (Yes , she makes the same facial expressions as Rene the French bartender and speaks directly into the camera.) there are multiple funny characters who carry the episode.
The way she acts is to much over the top and she tries to carry the whole show on her own, which i think stand up comedy is all about but it does not work on a television comedy show with multiple characters. There is no switching between characters and to few funny one liners. Comedies such as Monty Phyton , Are you being Served, Allo allo, Married with children, Fawlty towers, Desmond's are funny because of multiple characters. But here it is just to much and becomes to predictable.

Actually, i just got the episodes today. Watched a few minutes from the first show and it seemed promising.
