I just killed my DVD drive =O

lights are off and I was throwing in my new sins of solar empire dvd blind, closed the tray, and then heard a HORRIBLE squeaking noise. Tried to eject but it wouldn't come out, finally it ejected.


I had put a dvd on top of a dvd.

Now it takes forever to install and it makes horrid noises


epic fail





(at least it wasn't a dvd burner and is old anyway)
 
At $25- to $30 for a new highest speed burner and the amount of DVDs I burn I usually dont go a year without updating my 2 burners.
