That's true, I just think it could be funny. I mean, they sent me some sort of fake check, or a real check from some stolen account or something, and now want me to Western Union it back to them?

Maybe that figured out that there is no way they are going to scam you so they are moving on to another potential victim.

Well, it's been 5 days, and the last thing I heard was a desperate email asking me to send them the money back. I called their bluff on the scam, nothing since 🙁...OP updated with the emails.
