Imagine events broken on purpose, for months I might add, to hinder, no, completely halt, the uber guilds procession into the last zone of the PoP expansion. Then imagine being told the event was working as intended. After that, zone into a zone, whose events take HOURS to complete, and the later events are STILL broken. Now, PoP was released 6 months ago, aye? Shouldn't this sh*t be working? Not "working as intended" SoE's answer to anything broken, but truly working. Not to mention appalling customer service. That, my friend, is the SoE mind-fvck. Ever since Brad McQuaid left, "The Vision" too left. Now Rich Waters just sits back and counts his money.

i gave it to my bro to play, because he will be on summer break in afew days, and he is a much more hardcore gamer than me..

if he likes it, i'll probably like it.
 
I'm going crazy waiting for the patches and such to download. I started it last night and it failed. Started it again this morning and it's still going, looks to be maybe 40% done. Argh!!

I hate how people sign up for Betas they don't really care for. "Hmm, Imma sign up for an MMORPG that I know I won't like, because I hate MMORPGs. But whateva, I guess I'll just take someone else's spot who'd appreciate the beta much more than me." Then all we hear is complaints about paying a lousy $10. FU is all I can say, and quit your bitchin'. If I see you on here again after the WoW beta is announced and you're complaining, expect firebolts and lightning to stirke you dead. 😛

LOL I've been in it for over a month now. Last week was hell... couldn't even get on. Then one of their databases got corrupted, so they wiped all tradeskilling materials from the players inventory. It's an awesome game, but it definitely isn't even close to stable... and won't be for a few more months. And half the content is still missing.

Yeah I know that's how it goes and I expect that kind of stuff to be happening and everything. It's just that I'm so damn anxious to get started! Also I start a new job on monday which means less time to play. The installation/patching program says only 10 hours left......
 
Here. Although since beta 3 (the supposed final phase) has already started, I'm not sure if you can still get in or not. Probably worth a shot though.
 
One of my friends just got his CDs. He said after he logged in, it told him he had to download a 2GB update, the servers were so swamped that it would take him 94 hours to download the update (on cable). He also mentioned the graphics weren't as good as everyone was anticipating...
 
Heh, if you expect the graphics of a LucasArts game to be stunning and the game to be perfect? What are you smoking? 😛

It was MORE than my expectation. It's hands-down the best MMOG in terms of graphics out there. And 2 gigs of download?! WTF, i only downloaded like 4-500 megs i think.

i got in beta 2. played for 5 minutes then threw away the cds. funny, i got in beta 3 as a different name too. anyone want in?

you can't complain you get ranged ae insta stun and ranged ae insta mez in one line. compared to that everything else sucks.
