I had a pretty good day at work yesterday...

Then I get home, and check my email from my old job (I still consult for them).

Lo and behold....i get an email saying that I'm a beta tester for the Star Wars Galaxies game! 🙂

I will start messing with it this weekend....aww yeah...............

now I can see for myself if it's as good as people say, or as bad as people say. i already have 2 on preorder from EB.
 
Wasn't Galaxies supposed to be released back in April? I thought it would have been released by now. /shrug

They've been pushing back the release date left and right. I'd say we can expect to see it hit store shelves in 2008 at this rate. 😛
 
i'd pay, how much is it? its probably less than 10$.

once its out its gonna be 12$+ a month just to subscribe, i'd jump on it.
 
It's about $10, yeah.

I'm in the beta as well, though haven't played online yet...dunno, just not overly interested. I actually had forgotten that I'd signed up to participate until they emailed me about it. I'll have to give it a try sometime, though 🙂

i'm sure u dudes that dont' want to pay for the beta can hook someone else up with it...

there are many other beta testers out there taht would kill to test this game out.
 
Ooooh big effing deal. I've been beta testing it for a month.

If anyone wants to pay me a ridiculous sum of money, I'll sell you my beta account. MMORPGs don't do much for me.

odds looks pretty good, to bad i have no intrest in MMORPGs 🙂

Congrats on....nothing? I'm pretty sure i'll never purchase another SoE product ever again. The constant mind-fvck that they give to high end Everquest players has gone beyond the level attained by any previous game. You people say you don't want to pay to beta test a SoE product, if you've ever played EQ, you already have.
