I just had to use a gateway OS backup CD, need a little help

The restore went fine, but now every time I restart I get a gateway application loader that starts running, but it doesn't actually do or laod anything. I have left it run for over 10 minutes, and it costantly say estimated time remaining is 0 minutes. Also it says there should be a list of applications it is restoring, but there is nothing in the list. How do I get it to stop starting when the computer starts? I don't think it is located in msconfig/startup, but I could be wrong. Help
