330Ci has 225HP/214 LB-FT TQ weight: 3285 lbs.
S3 has 265HP/258 LB-FT TQ
don't know how much it weighs but it should be around the A3 2.0T 3263 lbs. since it has the same engine just with bigger turbos.

TQ is not a real unit.

sorry fixed
330Ci has 225HP/214 LB-FT TQ
S3 has 265HP/258 LB-FT TQ

The car is a BMW E46 330Ci M Sport (2005 face lift registered in 2006 on a 06 plate)

It has 240 HP from a 3.0L straight six and does 0-60 in just over 6 seconds. The US version I believe only has 225bhp (don?t ask me why)

The M ?sport pack? is literally just the M-tech styling pack (for looks), with also sports suspension and a few other extras fitted as standard. It?s a pretty standard option, so it?s nothing special.

LOL at how you claim to be an expert at driving cars ("I work for BMW" to anybody that will listen) and this is the first time you've spun up to 130? LOL

Also your car sounds like a ricer to me, //M badge must add what? 5 hp? Damn!

You sound like a little kid, it's embarrasing to read your waffle. Seriously.

And you think my car is rice, LOL. Are you on crack? It?s probably worth at least twice as much as your ford.

I would just like to point out a minor detail: I don?t work for BMW anymore; I work for Fujitsu as a project manger working on the MoD defence accounts, along with several other high profile contracts including the NHS contract.

What do you do? You clean cars right?

Sorry kiddo, we?re simply not in the same league.

EDIT: I just had to point out the hilarity of the bolded text in your post. Are you clueless? I?ve not once, never in the slightest proclaimed I was an expert at driving cars.

Sorry I am not the one who races cars on the street. Also you sound like the child "I work at so and so..." Yeah sorry, but I am not going to be insulted by your stupid comment of me cleaning cars, as you are completely ignorant.

"It's okay, just ignore the little kiddo."

You can hate me now

You sound like a real d!ck. You are literally attacking this guy for nothing, except that he has a way nicer car than you.

I love how you try to deflect his comments by calling him a child, purely out of jealousy.

Makes you look like the child.

Nicer car in what way? Get back to me when we see that 3 series running 9s. G-force for the win, I'll take a 03-04 Cobra any day, except for maybe rush hour traffic. Different strokes for different folks. I for one prefer sitting in traffic on a weekend afternoon with the sun setting with the windows down waiting for the light to change and feeling the car vibrate and pulse with every exhaust stroke.

Same league? Please. You have a stock entry level BMW with an appearance package. An '03 Terminator would school you in the performance department. A REAL M3 would also school your car and those cost about the same as the '03/04 Cobras in the $25-35k range. Not only that, most '03 Cobra's you see probably have half that again in engine mods alone (my new blower was $4200 and I'm looking at a 324" short block that runs over $8000, tell me again how anybody without a BMW is jealous and can't afford one?)

Not trying to put anybody down, but I'm tired of the snob appeal of brands like BMW and people acting all snotty like they own the world and everybody else washes dishes for a living when all they have themselves is a dime a dozen 3 series.

Comments like "You clean cars right?" are typical of BMW owners. Until you own a twin turbo M5, keep it to yourself and stop giving BMW enthusiasts a bad name and adding to the snob aura.

A 330CI isn't an entry level BMW...it has a decent engine for what it is about. I wouldn't get any BMW apart from an M3, 535 or the M5 though :D

Lol my plain boring non sporty old grandma 4 door FWD 2006 Toyota Avalon could hang with both of those cars; at least make them nervous watching a 4 door sedan stay in their peripheral vision for longer than they would like :D 280 HP / 260 ft/lbs 3.5L V6 and ~3600 lbs.

The Cobra I don't think I need to bring up... it makes almost as much power as any of those engines in only TWO of it's EIGHT cylinders, and yes, it can take the corners too; traction control, ABS, independent rear with coil overs, etc. American cars are not made in the 1980s anymore.

I'd drive a M3 :D Cheap, clean, and mean looking, and 333 HP isn't too shabby for a grocery getter :D

I was about to post the same thing.

These threads never go well at ATOT, because all of us drive MUCH faster cars and regularly beat MUCH meaner competitors while never endangering the lives or property of anyone else or breaking any laws, but I'd hoped the "carriageway" line might save it.

Everyone here drives something faster than a 330CI?

I dunno about you, but I have, like, FIVE McClaren F1's. I used to have more, but then I entered a couple into demolishion derbys and sold the remains on ebay.

Thats what I don't get about ATOT though... Whenever a car discussion comes up, ALL people seem to care about is "how fast it is" or "how much power it has", but at the same time, everyone always rags on people who street race... (and lets be honest, about 1% of ATOT actually goes to the track). So naturally, right when someone with a BMW pops up, everyone attacks them like their car is a piece of sh*t.

Look at his car, its a friggin BMW 330 with the M kit... I don't understand why everyone has to put him down for that.

I understand that some BMW owners are snobby, and do look down on people, but the stereotyping goes both ways people, and it seems like most of the time, its the BMW owners who are getting stereotyped.
