I guess I should just talk to her, but every time she calls I'm actually sleeping or really busy. I guess next time I get the call I will just deal with it but that is why this post is here so I can find out what to say.

I don't understand these arranged marriage things... but it sounds like neither you, nor this girl, care to embrace your culture. You live in America, so live your OWN life.

Either way... getting married after knowing someone a year, talking to them on the phone, and visiting them once a month is almost as insane as arranged marriages.
