I just had 2 Carl`s Jr Fish Sandwiches!!

I tried their "Beyond Famous Star" last night, mostly just to try it. It was ok I guess. I think they undercooked it some as it was like a medium-rare burger, would've preferred something a bit more well done, but then it might be worse that way. Still not a replacement for a good burger, but if you're vegetarian it might be a decent thing.

I ate one of the Impossible Burgers and think the place I ate it at didn't cook it right (I think they overcooked theirs, it was rather dry I thought, and they didn't compensate with much sauce topping on the burger itself even though it was supposed to have some sauce).

I think something that could help is to put the patty inside of a potato (maybe like a hashbrown), where it'd offer up a crispy outer part and could offer a firmer inside. That or inside a specially formed like pretzel roll.

The fish sandwish is hands down better than Wendys….Burger king or even Mikkey S`s!! Stick to the fish!!!!
 
I'm not terribly fond of any of the fast food fish sandwiches that I've had, but I haven't had Carl Jr's. I like properly crunchy breaded filets. The mix of cheap fast food bun, overly soft fish patty, and then the awful plastic cheese that most fast food places have, the funky tasting lettuce that most have as well, and then the meh tartar sauce, just not my thing.

The fish Sandwich at Carl`s is crispy and crunchy and does not come with cheese unless you ask!! All your reasons for not liking fish sandwiches from FF places is the reason I only eat fish sandwiches from Carl`s!!
 
Are there actual menu differences between Carl Jr's and Hardee's? I only see Hardee's near me and they are too slow, bothin drive-through and dine-in, to be considered 'fast' food. And it is that reason why the wife and I avoid them. Its bad when actual restaurants are faster than the nearest Hardee's.
 
They ARE my favorite fast food outfit, if you can call them fast food. It's not MacD, but not slow. I used to get a couple spicy chicken sandwiches, the crispy cross-cut fries, a chocolate shake for lunch 20 years ago, but I started putting on weight and had to quit it.

I hardly doubt that is even close to the truth!
It seems that perhaps you cannot be satisfied!
Even when I threw you a bone you decided to say what you felt like saying!
That's ok you can be anything you want on the interent…..

Haven't had their fish but Carl's is by far my fav. FF place to go. Problem is they're so damn expensive. I usually get their western/double western combo and it comes out to $11 or something like that. $$ better spent elsewhere if I wanted to sit down and eat but I usually don't have that kind of time.
