Its the fucking best.

AP English 4 with the easiest and nicest teacher ever.
AP Physics C with an amazing teacher who gives out a lot of extra credit.
AP Stat with a relatively unknown teacher.
French 4 (honors) with a teacher I've had for 3 years now.
Drafting 2 (honors) with a new teacher but apparently a middle aged black man who is laid back.
Philosophy with a teacher who's known to be relaxed.

WOOOOO.

Now time to go work on college app.

Damn, I took three years of French in HS and I don't remember any of it.

Except for the girl who mixed up a couple of important nouns.

Q: How do you welcome people in your home?
A: Nous leur souhaitons la bienvenue avec les jambes ouvertes.

I think he graduated high school, just that the stuff you get out of high school isn't worth much in the long run.

And it isn't. I did all that AP jazz back in the day and I ended up retaking those courses in college because my college pretty much wanted everyone to (engie). I'm glad I did, the material I learned retaking Calc and Physics blew what I learned in the AP classes in high school completely away. Yay E&M.

Well, I agree. I really didn't learn much in high school. It seemed more like a place I had to go.

College is so much nicer. Looking back, there's no reason that I couldn't have been doing calculus in middle school and actually gotten to where I am now with a BS in math by the time I graduated high school. Even the low-level courses in college are too much like high school.

But while we wait for the education system to change, it's statistically worth it to play the game and go up the education ladder.

I took 2 classes my senior year of HS and got those completed in 6-weeks. Shipped off to do my country proud shortly after.

From your posts, you need another year or 5 to mature so I'm sure you will enjoy the teen angst drama.
Thank you for your service :)
A decent student would be in French 5.

Also, college credits for French mean you like French, and would get them within 1 semester.
I started out in French 1 as a freshmen. You had to take French in middle school inorder to start out at French 2 as a freshmen.
Yes, and if you're going to wait, then I'm proud that you are.

If you know that you won't wait, then enjoy HS girl while you can, if you can.

LoL. It's obviously a joke when applied to you.

I'm pretty sure most smart people can easily deduce that you're a virgin and gonna stay that way for a while, with 95% confidence.

It means he's taken French all 4 years, and if dropped in France, would die.
I would die in France, I have no idea how I'm surviving French.
A decent school would have the 4th year of French as AP French, to students a chance at college credits.
At my school, AP/IB is always the 5th year. Except Chinese, where 6th year is IB
Eh he'd still have it easier taking the intro level classes in college. Free GPA booster.

If he's doing something STEM-related like most of us nerds probably did then he might not even need foreign language credits.
I'll probably take French in college so yes.

The thing you have to think about is this guy is graduating as a lifer of ATOT.
Yup. I am. Dedication is key
I dropped out of high school and I'm a loser.
Nooo, you aren't a loser.
Why is your school doing Honours French, instead of AP French Language and Culture.
French 1
French 2
French 3 Honors
French 4 Honors
French 5 AP/IB

At my school, and most in NC, 2 years of a language are REQUIRED. Since it's required, they aren't honors.

God, you're going to be really annoying when you're one of those college freshmen who thinks that he's special and knows everything.
I'm not special.
you're a senior @ high school. FFS.
Yeah, true...
Congratulations! It's great to see someone have a positive attitude about the teachers they have lined up for their classes.

Have a great year! :)
Thank you :)

I remember having an awesome schedule this one semester in high school. I had like 1 class.

1st period: spare - got to sleep in, and I lived a block away so no bus to take.
2nd period: French (that teacher was also the media arts teacher, most of our projects were movies and fun stuff like that)
Lunch
3rd and 4th period: get on the town bus and go to my Co-op.

I don't know if a high school schedule is something worth bragging about though. :p

I did not mind high school, but college was better, and work / "real world" is even better. At least I get paid!

This. I work 8 hours, get to wear whatever I want and take ping pong breaks, and I make enough money to keep beer in the fridge and some dollars in my savings account. Don't miss high school/college.
