You sound surprised. :hmm:

I dropped out of high school and make more money than my friends. :awe:
I dropped out of HS and made a ton of money as well but now I'm 30, have a family and getting my education after a decades worth of self employment hurts me bad when applying for jobs.

At this point in my life I wanna do an 8-5 and go home and be with my family. I can't live around my work forever.

my senior year in HS i ran out of classes to take so i either had no class before noon or no classes after noon on most days because of study halls and how our schedule worked

it was pretty awesome
Lucky you.
Pretty much this.

Nobody cares about high school, and especially not about your schedule.
My friends care
Y'all stop being mean. 30 minutes after gradiation he'll understand Kodachrome. Until then, this is big stuff.

Is this a joke? I make more than most friends with PhD, and some of those with lesser degrees. Not bragging, but I didn't even go to HS.

What good is an education in X if the world decides upon your graduation that field X isn't going to be funded anymore?

pimping ain't easy

Meh, wait until you get to college and arrange your schedule so you have a 3-day weekend. Managed that for one semester, it was awesome. :)

God, you're going to be really annoying when you're one of those college freshmen who thinks that he's special and knows everything.

One guy in one of my freshman engineering lectures answered every question. Literally, including the rhetorical ones. Facepalms and exasperated sighs abounded for 2/3 of the semester before he finally figure it out. Even the professor gave him a few hilariously frustrated looks. :D

Congratulations! It's great to see someone have a positive attitude about the teachers they have lined up for their classes.

Have a great year! :)

I graduated Highschool with a 1.4 and make more money than all but one of my friends. Highschool doesn't matter.

I have a Bachelor's degree and make more money than my family members who dropped out of high school. :p

On average it pays to continue your education.

Anyway, I'm glad you're excited about your schedule. I miss physics. Hopefully yours is calculus based, because that's the good stuff.

Its the fucking best.

AP English 4 with the easiest and nicest teacher ever.
AP Physics C with an amazing teacher who gives out a lot of extra credit.
AP Stat with a relatively unknown teacher.
French 4 (honors) with a teacher I've had for 3 years now.
Drafting 2 (honors) with a new teacher but apparently a middle aged black man who is laid back.
Philosophy with a teacher who's known to be relaxed.

WOOOOO.

Now time to go work on college app.

Todaloo

Why is your school doing Honours French, instead of AP French Language and Culture.

I think he graduated high school, just that the stuff you get out of high school isn't worth much in the long run.

And it isn't. I did all that AP jazz back in the day and I ended up retaking those courses in college because my college pretty much wanted everyone to (engie). I'm glad I did, the material I learned retaking Calc and Physics blew what I learned in the AP classes in high school completely away. Yay E&M.

I wouldn't have done AP Calc and physics if I did HS again. Now the inane shit like history and government I would. And AP Physics B is algebra-based, C is Calculus-based.

A decent school would have the 4th year of French as AP French, to students a chance at college credits.

Eh he'd still have it easier taking the intro level classes in college. Free GPA booster.

If he's doing something STEM-related like most of us nerds probably did then he might not even need foreign language credits.

I took 2 classes my senior year of HS and got those completed in 6-weeks. Shipped off to do my country proud shortly after.

From your posts, you need another year or 5 to mature so I'm sure you will enjoy the teen angst drama.

A decent student would be in French 5.

Also, college credits for French mean you like French, and would get them within 1 semester.

If I remember correctly, Christianity states that sex should occur after marriage.

Yes, and if you're going to wait, then I'm proud that you are.

If you know that you won't wait, then enjoy HS girl while you can, if you can.

LoL. It's obviously a joke when applied to you.

I'm pretty sure most smart people can easily deduce that you're a virgin and gonna stay that way for a while, with 95% confidence.
