I just got suckered buying girl scout cookies...

Girl Scouts don't go door to door selling cookies around here. You have to find them setting up shop infront of a Wal-Marts or outside some store that allows soliciting. I haven't seen any around here and I have a craving for some thin mint cookies.

Actually, some good friends of mine (college-age girls) are still involved with campfire as leaders. I'd buy some cookies from them. :beer:
 
whats funny is the 10 yr old girl that sold you those cookies actually made them in a factory making $1.15/hr
 
I don't know if it's changed any or not, but the Girl Scouts of America organization is a bunch of lecherous theives. They have all the Girl Scout troops peddle their wares at $3.00 (at the time my Mother was a troop leader) and guess what the troop got for the sale? A whopping $.25. And the worse part? If the troop didn't use all the measly earnins they got from the cookie sales by the end of the year the GSoA organization would take it back.

Bah!

If you want to support the girl scouts, just give them $5 and buy a box of cookies from the grocery store. They'll make 20 times as much and you'll get more than 30 cookies for your $15.
 
Did they at least have the cookies on them or did you have to "preorder" them and have em delivered to you later.

btw, which did you get? I'm a fan of the tag-a-longs.

My little sister was selling them, her and my dad came by my house and she came in to sell some to me and my mom 🙂 Can't resist the Samoas (they call them Caramel Delites or something like that now) or Thin Mints 😀
