Weird cause I was listening to the 80s channel on the Internet and popped some SweetTarts that a coworker brought in from unclaimed Halloween loot. I think the combination of Johnny Hates Jazz singing Shattered Dreams and the sugar rush took me back to my childhood.

Cheaper and easier than wiring up a Delorean

The trip isn't as "heavy" though. ;)

I seperate the "old days" from the "modern day" by the 1985/86 New Years episode of Night Court. Everything before then is old, and after is new.

Eh.. I had a couple of years to wait before I saw the light as of 1987. Two and a half, namely.

That was the year I turned 16. Dude, I had my license!

I turned 30 that year, it was a good year I got a nice promotion, sold my first house and bought a bigger one and knocked up the old lady with our 1 and only son:clock:

Awesome. I hope to sell my house, upgrade to a bigger one, and knock up a chick in 2008

I had to use a dumb ASCII terminal to fix a server yesterday. Now there is an 80's flashback!

Would have been cool to complement her on it. As my good friend Biff Tannen would say, "Hello? Hello? Anybody home? Huh? Think, McFly. Think!" :)

I think that was the year I went as ALF for Halloween.
Alf had a lot in common with me.....we both liked to chase the same thing.

Did you try to eat it when you caught it? :p

I disagree, days of childhood can be very difficult with all that emotional stuff going on, shoot when you are 15 if you dont get the clothes you want it feels like you are going to have a heart attack. While there may be more 'real' responsibility as an adult it doesnt mean it affects us more.

Well unless you're gay this is a non-issue for most 15 year old males.
