Your lucky you got off with a warning, usually cops get pissed when you drive that fast, especally if it's a residental zone

overall I've been pulled over 12 times for speeding and only 2 tickets and one of which I got out of in court and the second I went to school for.

got pulled over once for doing 50 in a 25...cop ticketed me for the speeding and not wearing a seatbelt. Went to court (was 16 at the time), judge ordered me to pay only $50.... Havent been pulled over after that (been about 6 years)

Actually it was more of an industrial zone. Basically i was absolutely the only person on the road, so i wasn't really endangering anyone. He said had it been during the week he would have written me a ticket.

I was going got ask if this was your first time being pulled over, but you answered that already in this thread. So, I'd say you 'got lucky.'

I've noticed that police often give a warning the first time a person is pulled over (ever) and then the ticket on the second time. Was true for me and for several other people I know.
