Sorry, had to write it quickly the first time.

I was troubleshooting with a customer on the phone, and trying to set up her modem on a USB connetion.

So I asked her if she had a usb cable. She didn't know what it was.

I gave her a description
"A plastic cord with metal on the inside, look at the end of it for a piece of metal there."

"Well, how am I suppose to tell the difference here, don't all cords have metal in them"

I realised she was right
