I just got my XBOX~~

OH man.......I never thought the xbox was bigger than my VCR... and it is alot bigger than my PS2. Halo reminds me of half life except I am playing it on TV instead of my computer. I still have to get used to the xbox controllers....since the buttons are too closely place against each other. ERRRR....but so far so good.

My cousin and I played HALO the whole night last night, not getting one minute of sleep. Then took a break to go to church and eat, then it was right back at it. Man, this game is long.

Ok ive had my xbox for 2 days now, I got halo with it and OMG its amazing... The graphics.. wow.... and I have dozens of creatures chasing me while I gun them all down and no slow down thats sweet. This game seriously OWNS.....

At first the control feels a bit akward for fps but not NEAR as akward as the ps2 on say unreal toournament but soon you get use to the xbox's control and I actually start thinking wow the people who did the control scheme did an amazing job... I almost like it better than keyboard/mouse.. everything just works soooo well...


Anyway I love my xbox.. I can watch dvds with it I have some cds copied onto it and he graphics are great... And I absolutely love the controller.

I don't have an xbox, but I don't know why ppl are complaining so much about its controller. I played X and GC at a local store, I found the Xbox one a lot more confortable, just the right size, while the GC one was quite small and unconfortable...

It could be just me though.........I'm a big guy with big hands....

I dunno about hands, but I know what they say about guys with big feet (size 13) like me. They need big shoes. And those shoes are expensive and hard to find

I got a question here too....

When i popped in a dvd it says i need a dvd playback kit to play dvd. Do i need to go out and buy it in order to play dvd or it is included when i got the console?

you gotta pay for the dvd kit which includes a wireless remote and cd i think. somehting about ms not wanting to add the dvd licensing fee to every xbox since most ppl already have dvd players.

Explanation has already been given... I accept it and don't mind a bit that I'll have to pay another $30 for it... cause anyone wanting it to play DVDs really NEEDs it... $30 is nothing to pay for a DVD player.

Now if only they had the kit in stock at the places I'm looking (not online).
