but there was a problem....the employer I had was not taking out any SS money from the time I was 12-16 ..Is there anyway I could sick the goverment on him? Oh yeah the scumbag is still in business.

12-16? ummm I don't think you can add to SS at that age

SS is deducted at any age, that's part of paying taxes.

I don't think you are even allowed to work at this age. I think minimum hiring age is 16

I'm pretty sure that if the employer reports to the federal gubment, they have to take SS taxes out of your paycheck.

It varies by state. I was first employed at 12, & I've been working full time since I was 16.

people we are talking 24 years ago....it was very common to be employeed at the age of 12 also the Ahole I worked for got busted because I was working 12 hrs a day and 7 days a week.

I was a dishwasher in a restaurant, the only problem with working that hard i was burned out by the time I was around 17
