Well, aside from battling stage IV lung cancer I haven't been up to much. However, I have managed to remain happily married. I couldn't manage this illness without my husband.

Oh wow, I am sorry to hear that!! ***HUGS*** That must be a horrible experience to be going through. I am glad Red is taking good care of you. How long has it been since you were diagnosed?

congratulations on 10 years :D

by the way, the links to the pics don't work. mind posting updated links and updated pics?

let's see what 10 years has done :D

Eh, I typically don't post photos anywhere public - this thread was a notable exception even ten years ago. It's gotten more true as I've gotten further into the work world. Call me old fashioned but I like having my work life, my personal life and my online life somewhat segregated. :)

You guys still avoiding the damned wildfires? I've seen a few reports of them in your area in recent years.
Don't summon the beast by speaking of it!

The last two years have been ok. We evac'd or were on evac warning basically every year 2017-2021. Right now it looks like there's 20-something fires in Humboldt and Del Norte and we're a bit smoked in, but there's nothing burning in our general area. We've got about 45-65 mini goats at any given time so evacuating is quite the headache, can't usually get them all packed up expediently.

Not so much lately. We blazed on past you in November on the way home from a cross country journey. I did think of you guys as we rolled through the county :)

Hope you guys enjoy many more.

Indeed. Many, MANY more. I vaguely remember when we celebrated our 18th...it was a LONG time ago, (48 years this past June) 18 years is a helluva good start. Far too many people look at marriage as a disposable thing nowadays. It's not...it's a life sentence.
