I used to be there all the time. The ignorance is astounding, and I decided not to waste my time arguing with people who have opinions without even having facts.

So you're saying if I have never ventured into the P&N realm that I should never even bother?

You could be contaminated. We are going to need to strip out of your clothes and wait in a de-contamination post. The P&N forums are vast and dangerous, and they may contain viruses and bacteria that could potentially be life threatening to OT posters.

No, don't listen to him. Some people have bad experiences, but on the whole its very rewarding.

Yes. Nobody is "right" or "correct" there.

It's where the Type A Personality people like to hang out. They just want to argue, period. About anything. It's mostly occupied by unhappily married men, and single, college age people that are on the debate team and think they know everything.

You could state the weight of an element, as correctly represented on the Periodic Table of Elements, a world-wide accepted standard, and they'd argue it's wrong.

I for one can not determine which is the larger waste of life and intelligence, but then again I figure they both balance out at zero.

Me, Type A? Nope, not a chance. I rarely play competitive sports, and when I do, it's purely for fun. Volleyball, softball and touch-football. I could care less who wins; if I break a sweat and have fun, that's all that matters.

I could care less about aceing a test. 70 is passing? I passed! Dandy.

I don't argue just to argue. Besides, I won't have a battle of wits w/an unarmed person, which is essentially 75% of everyone I encounter on a daily basis. :D
