I proposed to my girlfriend tonight, and she said yes! I've never felt so happy and nervous at the same time. We haven't set a date for a wedding just yet, but we felt we were ready to move things to the next level.

Just thought I would share. 😀

I figured a few of you might have a few witty comments like that. 😉 Yeah, between her and my new job, i've been extremely busy. I really only have time to lurk nowadays, but i'm going to try and stop by more often.

I will reserve any congratulations until you post a pic. Not because it matters what she looks like, but simply you deserve no better treatment for posting an engagement thread and no pic. You know better! You also know better than to post a pic of a gf/wife on at....so, congrats!

Nothing special really, as she isn't into all that mushy romantic stuff. We actually just went the mall, picked out a ring, bought it, and then we went for a walk in big park that we have here in town.

But in all honesty, I don't have any pics of her in a digital format. (and no, i'm not hiding anything 😉)

Much like mine. Somewhat takes out the surprise after she's encouraged you to go ring shopping isn't it? It's like your dad bringing you to the toy store of his own volition and helping you pick out a toy, then when you ask for it he laughs and says lets go home 🙂

but wtf dude? even if she isnt into the mushy stuff, that scenario makes it seem like you dont even care. i am all for people doing whatever they want, but it just doesnt show any effort on your part.
