I just got contacts!

I've had the same contacts for 3 months (1 month contacts) and I never take them off or clean them. Dont do what I do.

You could at least remove them and clean them. These are your EYES we're talking about here. Take care of them.
 
my contacts are 4 years old. been wearing contacts for 15 years now. absolutely wonderful. I should have my new pair in the mail today. current lenses have gone flat and one is developing some microscopic cracks.
 
yes, clean you contacts. Back in college, I didn't wash them or take em out for 1-2 days ... now, I can't have contacts on for longer than 6hrs or else I get a real terrible headache. 🙁 So I'm basically stuck with glasses unless I'm playing sports ... UGH!
 
I had contacts for.. hmm, 22 years? I just recently got LASIK on 12-1.


WHEEEE, its so much nicer not having to put things in your eyes anymore. Wake up, see, have fun. No glasses, no contacts, no solution, no etc.

 
I started wearing contacts 2 years ago.
I know you're suppose to change them daily,but that would be too damn expensive.

I bought like 8 pairs at a time. Then switch between alternating pairs each day. I take them out when I go to sleep and let those soak. I use the other pair when I wake up.
It works quite well and I don't have too buy allot. After 3 or 4 months I dispose of the ones I used. Then open a new package.
The doc said as long as you clean them no worries I guess. I don't see anything wrong with my eyes.

I never liked glasses and having contacts is so much easier. I tried those hard contacts OH MY EYE MY EYES!! Soft ones are nice.
 
Did you get the hard kind (permeable) or the soft contacts? I had the hard contacts for about 1.5 years and then I changed to soft and those were much more comfortable on the eyes.
