I cannot tell you how happy I am. I've cried like five times this morning, and I can't ever remember crying that much in total my whole life. I've read the acceptance email something like 15 times, just to make sure.

All the hell of the LSAT, applications, LSDAS, was now all worth it 🙂

I was born in SF, went to school in LA, and next year will be spending at least three years in NYC.

Oh, and I get my paycheck today.

Today, is a *good* day.

And in a moment of irony, I just took my first law school final and seriously rethinking the whole reason I signed up for this law business...
 
A year from now you will laugh at yourself thinking that what you have been through up to now is even worth thinking about.
 
my wife is currently in her second straight week of studying for her law school finals for the semester. BOTH of us find ourselves questioning the law school choice at this time of year.

What up Danny! I'm still in SK! I can actually leave as of 1/1/07 but I'm looking towards using my paid vacation days, so I will likely stay until Feb, use them then, and then travel the world for a month or two. Then I will kick it it back in SF, and just do nothing for a few months. I'm sure 1L will be hell. But hey, it's all gravy now 😀
 
I celebrated getting into Central Washington University tonight.

Ugh.. should've laid off the funny stuff the past few years.

You might want to quit. Some do. Others don't. Just make sure whatever you chose is right for you. Congrats though.
 
Congrats. I go to law school and today was my hardest final. (I am a first year). Getting in is the easy part. My biggest suggestion? Do not aim for top 10%. Fvck that. If you do, you will burn out and start to hate life. Law school sucks no matter what you are doing or where you are, but you can make it OK if you have the right attititude and goals.
