Got the same stepping as you. Stable up to 2.6 now. But it bitched and moaned just to get that high. One core like to fail SuperPi early.

Both a friend and I have similar 4200+'s that are mediocre overclockers. One chip is 0612 and the other is 0613 and neither would hit 2.6Ghz even with 1.50-1.52v.

Mine is currently running at 2.58Ghz, and it takes 1.52v to get there. With a voltage of 1.40, I can run at 2.48Ghz, and while I haven't tried overclocking on just the stock voltage of 1.35, my guess is the chip could run 2.4Ghz on the stock Vcore.

With the exception of a couple chips, it seems my entire overclocking experience going back to the Celeron 366@550 days consists of mediocre chips one after the other.

Try placing a memory divider on your memory so it runs less than 1:1 with the HTT. Then try running dual superpi at 215HTT.

My earlier post: "htt multi was lowered to 4x, ram divider was 166 (5:6)"
