i now have a dell inspiron with a p4 mobile 1.7, 384mb of ram, 30 gig hdd, gf2go, cd burner/dvd rom combo drive, and a pcmcia wireless g adapter...came with no os, i just installed 2kpro and am now typing my first post from the couch 😀
what did i give for it, you ask?
a 46" big screen tv that needs a new screen protector(the current one is all cut up 🙁 ) and $50 :laugh:
he was really happy since the lappy was "fvcked up beyond repair" and it would only cost him $150 to get a new screen protector
thetv is about 10 years old too...
and the best part?
he is a friend of my roommate's, my roommate told the guy i liked computers and he came to me with this deal since he wanted the television
i guess he doesn't realize he just traded a 400-500 dollar laptop for a sdtv worth maybe $50
yay for people that don't know what they have 😉
