Took them long enough, but I finally got the job...
Anyways, I was wondering if any of you guys here worked at a cell store, and if so they could give me some advice.
Nothing in particular, just general pointers to make the first week all the better!
Thanks for looking!
(I wonder what kind of employee plans they have? :D

Be ready to answer: "When people try to call me are they going to be told that all circuits are busy and to try again later?"

Just kidding. Uhm, just be courteous to the customers and all that jazz. If you're good to them they'll be good to you. Personal Story: Went to a store looking for a particular cd changer. They didn't have it but the guy called around and found a location that did. I went to the other store and picked it up. Made a point of it to make sure the guy who first helped me would get the commission. Even went back and told the first guy to make sure he made sure he got his name on the sale.

Anyhow, I'm sure you'll do fine. College students are always more likely to be lured in by neat looking phones and such, even if the service isn't good. I know I'm guilty of that.

In case you can't tell, I really dislike Cingular. I've never seen anyone get good use out of their phone.(well, maybe 1)

what, selling their phones?

I sold Cingular, AT&T, Nextel, and Sprint at Circuit City. I hated Cingular, but that's besides the point.

Push anything unlimited. What's that, unlimited nights and weekends? Thats over 10,000 more than what Sprint gives you! (don't mention that no one in their right mind will even use the 3500 sprint gives you). That's right, nationwide coverage, analog and digital! (oh yea, forget the part that while its analog and digital coverage still sucks).
